The Koraku-en is one of the three major gardnes in Japan. It has been classified as Garden Special Scenic Spot meeting Cultural Property Classification. It is a famous garden (in Japanese terms it is called Daimyō) that was builyt in the Edo period by the Lords of Kaga. 

This place is also a good place for enjoying flowers. Every January and February, you will find flowers such as snow camellias, plums, mountain flowers, etc. and in the summer, you will find bamboo grass, water lotus, etc. In addition, you will find Kaiba, October Sakura, Winter Sakura in various seasons as well. 

During winter, you will be able to experience the famous facility of "Yukitsuri". It is a facility built to prevent Karasaki Matsu from falling due to the snow on the tree. However, its elegant design together with the snow and the garden resulting in an excellent scene for the season.
